Finley keeping his binkie in his mouth with his finger

Blessing day pictures of Finley and the Family.

Finley did not enjoy his first bath. His hair did look cute after we rubbed it with a towel.

Faye's hair is finally getting long enough for ponytails

Update for Lunch

Because the weather has turned sour on us, we have moved the lunch venue to Phils Glass(enter from the side). It is located at 685 N. Main Street. We're still planning on eating at about 2:30.

Directions for Baby Blessing and Lunch

If you are coming in from the north on the main road (State Road 36). Take a right on Utah Ave (200 North) and go to 1000 West. You will find the church there. Its the star on the left side of the map. If you are coming from the south you will need to take a left onto Utah Avenue.

To get to the park afterwards you will just head east on Utah avenue and then take a right on 200 West. The park will be on the right at the end of the block.

Dinosaur Park
Up north in ogden they have a park where they keep real dinosaurs. I think they got the idea from a movie. They do have the dangerous ones fenced off with a sturdy electric fence. When we first got there Kallie and Kaitlyn were very frightened because of all the noises that the dinosaurs were making.

I had to keep Faye from trying to pet all of the dinosaurs. Her hand almost got nipped a few times.

Luckily for Faye this one was a vegetarian or she would have been a goner

After a while they became fearless and couldn't wait to see the next ones

They named this one Sarah. I don't know why.

Kallie and Faye

Excavating for Dinosaur bones was a lot of fun. I don't think they had any idea of what they were pretending to do.

It was a lot of fun feeding the fish. They have these 20 lb fish that fight with the ducks over who gets the food.
Kallie, Faye and Kaitlyn have finally been cornered and put in the zoo.

Faye was very excited for the 4th of July parade this year. She even had some new sunglasses from D.I. She was excited to cheer me on when I came running before the parade. See below for full details.

On the 4th of July Tooele has a 5k run that precedes the parade called the Freedom 5K. I ran in it with my friend Justin and came in 11th place...for my age group which happens to be the 30-34 year olds. I think I was 74th overall of about 300 people. We finished in just over 23 minutes which is pretty good for us because when we were training the best time we had was about 26 minutes. It was a lot harder to run in the heat because we were used to running before the sun came up. Before I started training for this the most I had ever ran without stopping was 1 mile.
